If you are over 18 and interested in helping the squadron to organise fund raising, then this is the role for you, working behind the scenes with likeminded individuals, to manage the in goings and out goings enabling our cadets to get the most out of the organisation.
The most popular staff role by far, if you’re over 20 and interested in directly working with our cadets, then this could suit you, inspiring the next generation with the opportunity to gain a full range of qualifications, and work in a range of roles from administration, DofE and training, and the option to go into a uniform role. Once you have served as a Civilian instructor for a few months, then you may be able to go into uniform as a senior NCO, you will be responsible for a specific function on the squadron and, the more military aspects of training including drill and discipline, you will be given a uniform and be entitled to claim pay for you time on camps and activity, if this interests you contact us with the details below or come down to visit.
Once you have completed time as a Civilian instructor or SNCO then you may wish to go for a commission, this will make you part of the management team for the squadron and allow you to take up suitably high responsibility roles, with progression to commanding a squadron with your own team.
